Towards the first of June my family and some of the other cops and their families went to Carpenteria California.
We all took our trailers and stayed at a camp right by the beach!
Carpenteria is by the beautiful Santa Barbara.
We went shopping and shopping and... shopping.

In Santa Barbara we went to the Pier and ate at Moby Dicks looking over the ocean.
We met this old hippy who had a TON of toys on his van. He was hilarious.
Shopping in Santa Barbara. See that big truck behind me? That's ours. It was IMPOSSIBLE to drive that in California where the roads are seriously built for SMALL cars..
Solvang, California. Coolest town ever!! It is a Danish town and it seriously feels like being in Europe.
