New York: Part 1

Wow I cannot believe I haven't even wrote about my time in New York! It was soooo amazing. For starters I'll only write about the first couple of days.

So flying to New York was my first time flying ever! I was a little nervous.. I felt like I was going to pass out! I had sooo much fun though! I actually LIKE flying!!

So anyway we were almost to New York City and the sun was out still and it was about 4 o'clock. I look over to talk to my parents for a minute and I look back and the sun was gone! It just disappeared! It was crazy. Apparently the sun decides to leave around then in NY. So it was dark when we flew into New York City. Ohhhh myyyy gosh. It was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. All the city lights were on and it was so surreal! I want to go back and just see that view again.

It was rainy when we got there. We went and rented a car for the week and tried to find our way out of New York City. I was taking it all in, even though I knew I would be back in a few days. I couldn't keep my eyes off the Chrysler building. We got so lost. We went to some scary parts of the city and about an hour later we found our way out and traveled 3 hours to where my brother and his family lives.

We finally get there and its pretty late. Only Mike, Logan, Lincoln, and Heather are waiting up for us. Londyn and Lauryn couldn't stay awake. It was so good to finally see them! I hadn't seen Lincoln and Heather since my graduation almost a year an a half ago! So we talked and got ready for bed. I got to sleep right in front of the Christmas tree. It was really cozy and magical!

The next day we went shopping for food and Heather's family all came. We hung out and talked about old times.

Then the next morning we all got ready and went to Logan's baptism! It was so good! I was so sick and kept coughing.. but it was an amazing experience I'm sure Logan will never forget. I'm so proud of him. Then we had a Christmas party with all of Heather's family and friends. Santa Clause came an surprised us! Logan got a bike for his Christmas/birthday/baptism present. He was so happy about it. We had a great Korean dinner that Heather made for us. She is such a good cook.

It is sooo cold there! I was freezing coming from somewhere that is a desert and no one knows what that white stuff coming from the sky is. It was so fun though, and the first couple days were amazing to be with my great family!
